Happy Blasphemy Day!

Today is the day we treat religious people like adults, and tell them that their religions are all entirely made up.
Today is the day that atheist around the world are encouraged to openly express criticism and/or disdain for any religion of your choice. Why? Because every belief is subject to criticism.
Ronald Lindsay, president and CEO of the Center for Inquiry said regarding Blasphemy Day, "We think religious beliefs should be subject to examination and criticism just as political beliefs are, but we have a taboo on religion," in an interview with CNN. The day was set on September 30, to coincide with the anniversary of the publication of satirical drawings of Muhammad in one of Denmark's newspapers, resulting in the Jyllands-Posten Muhammad cartoons controversy.
According to USA Today's interview with Justin Trottier, a Toronto coordinator of Blasphemy Day, "We're not seeking to offend, but if in the course of dialogue and debate, people become offended, that's not an issue for us. There is no human right not to be offended."
Events worldwide on the first annual Blasphemy Day in 2009 included an art exhibit in Washington, DC and a free speech festival in Los Angeles. Blasphemy Day was also widely discussed across the web and covered by several media outlets.
What will Naomi contribute to blasphemy day?
I am not going to make any effort to out-do anyone else. What I will do is state the following:
1. Faith = Gullible
2. There is no evidence Jesus existed
3. There is no evidence that any gods are real.
4. Muhammad was a mentally ill, blood thirsty, plagiarizing head-case in dire need of an anti-psychotic medication.

I could say a lot more but I would rather not because there are so many others who say it much better than I do. Instead I will repost some of my favorite blasphemous images.

Judges Arrested and Convicted for taking bribes

Video: Outlining and Identifying Judicial Corruption

In an effort to help Bill Windham in his documentary film, Lawless America, I have decided to investigate past episodes of judicial corruption in the United States of America. There are a few reasons this is necessary. First, people who claim they are victims of corruption are usually not believed. They are often labeled malcontents who are complaining because they did  not get what they want. I am not saying that this does not happen. There are some stories that leave me wondering, ¨what is this person leaving out?¨ There will always be some people who cry wolf. And then there are the other half, the people who are genuine victims of judicial corruption. That being said, American corruption is real and we have the arrest records to prove it. This blog will discuss some of those judges who were arrested, placed in handcuffs and sentenced for corruption. This blog is about the select few who actually got caught.

Le Misanthrope

Many moons ago I took an upper level French course focused entirely on the playwright, Moliere. The class was no walk in the park. The language is different from what is spoken in France today. I read several of his works and hand to perform an excerpt from one of Moliere´s plays before the class. Moliere´s final impression on me was that he was truly a funny guy.

The Cemetery

A few years later I went to Paris and eventually stayed there about a year. My hotel was in the 20th arrondisement, between Bastille and the famous cemetery.  I decided to visit Cimetière du Père-Lachaise.  Père-Lachaise  is the largest cemetary in Paris. Moliere is buried at Pere Lachasie, right next to Jean de la Fontaine and a five minute walk from the tomb of Jim Morrison.

I went there a little later than I hoped because I had to meet with some lawyers in Paris. I quietly stood before Moliere´s tomb, thinking about all the amazing plays that I had to read all in the original French text, I realized that it was getting late.
